- Fried veal brain at Oltrarno Osteria
There aren't a lot of restaurants in Florence that still serve this dish so when I saw it on the menu I knew I had to try it. It had the perfect light and crispy batter and came with housemade mayo. Honorable mention to the most delicious gazpacho with creamy burrata I've ever had.

- Steak at Cecchini in Città
The famous Tuscan butcher has opened a new restaurant right in Florence at the 25 hours hotel. If you can't snag a seat at his restaurant in Panzano, you can now get his bistecca alla Fiorentina right in the heart of Florence.

- Melon cocktail at Locale
Locale is on the list of the World's 50 Best Bars in the World and between their cocktails and the location (a 12th century palazzo) they truly never disappoint. Their menu changes regularly and includes many ingredients they produce themselves. Each time I return I continue to be impressed by their innovative approach to cocktails in such a stunning and traditional space.

- Lunch and Spa Package at Villa La Borghetta
If you're looking to get out of the city for the day and relax, then Villa La Borghetta is the perfect option. They have day spa packages that include lunch or dinner and spa treatments. A literal dream. In the warmer months they also have a pool shaded by olive trees where you can swim and lay out.

- Bloody Mary at Manifattura
Manifattura is one of my favorite spots in Florence for an aperitivo. While they have a super funky and inventive cocktail list that uses only Italian spirits, I also trust them with my Bloody Mary, which is not always easy to find in this country.

- Wine with a View at Villa il Pozzo
Located about 35 min from Florence this winery has stunning grounds with an incredible view where you can even see San Gimignano off in the distance. Request a wine tasting with Donato for an extra special experience.

- Dinner and a Dance Party at Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori
When you come for dinner here, you know you're in for a great meal and an even better time. The family run spot is small, so book ahead but by the end of the night you'll be a part of the family.
