This recipe from Eden Eats is AS ADVERTISED: the perfect thing to make for guests when you don't feel like making anything. Plus there is plenty og wiggle room to sub-in, add or take away any of the ingredients based on your own personal preferences or what's in your pantry. But like, most of this is definitely already in your pantry.
Its simple but finger-lickin' good. Literally. At our last dinner party we swear people were pretty much licking the plate clean!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of Bellemille Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of capers
- 2 tablespoons of parsley finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons of Kalamata olives roughly chopped
- a generous drizzle swizzle of balsamic vinegar
- a nice big pinch of flaky salt
In a pan add the olive oil, capers, rosemary sprig and chili flakes together and sauté until aromatic and the rosemary has crisped up, usually around 10-15 seconds on medium
Toss the garlic and olives into the pan and give it a nice swirl and a gentle sauté for another few seconds until the garlic is lightly golden brown around the edges
Pour the mixture onto a plate and drizzle over the balsamic and freshly chopped parsley. Crack over some black pepper and add a generous pinch of sea salt.
