The Signature Bellemille Washed Olive Oil Martini

The Signature Bellemille Washed Olive Oil Martini

We love finding new ways to use Bellemille olive oil and as avid cocktail enthusiasts, an olive oil cocktail is the logical next step! This recipe takes a little patience as you will need to let your chosen liquor sit for 24 hours and then pop it in the freezer but we assure you it is well worth the wait!

With an olive oil washed vodka or gin you are going to get a silkier and more decadent taste and texture. For all of the martini connoisseurs this new combo ensures a totally new and unique cocktail experience.

OLIVE OIL WASHED VODKA (or GIN!) RECIPE

  • 750 ml vodka
  • 4oz Bellemille olive oil
  • 2 large sprigs of rosemary
  1. Combine the vodka, olive oil, and rosemary in a large mason jar and shake vigorously. Store in a cool dark place for at least 24 hours.
  2. Move the mason jar to the freezer and let it freeze overnight.
  3. Remove the jar from the freezer and discard the solidified olive oil and rosemary from the jar. Strain the remaining liquid using a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter. Repeat this multiple times until there are no visible remnants of the olive oil left in the vodka.
